Tax and foreign exchange earnings?
Basically I do not want to win the income tax on my Forex, I pay enough in my regular job. I live in Canada and trade Forex with a UK-based controlled platform. I have citizenship in Canada and Ireland have active bank accounts in both countries. Because I live outside of Ireland for more than 183 days, I do not need to pay income tax in Ireland, so if I, if I withdraw money from my trading account i want it to my Irish bank account, I can be transferred directly earn they keep here, interest, and are not taxable. Is it true that Forex Trading Broker (as FXCM is the platform I use) will not disclose account information to gov agencies? Therefore, if Canada Revenue do not know, I have the money and the money I've made in Ireland is exempt. Thanks Who has info on this topic
Canada taxes its residents on worldwide income. If the forex account is based in the UK, it is a UK-income and you are in the UK as a non-resident taxpayers. What you describe is, tax evasion and carries fines and prison sentences. Good luck.
